This piece is a comment on crime in Pakistan Specifically the crime that women face while walking down the street outside their homes or to work. Multiple cases of assault is been a sad reality of this world.
This garment is representative of the weight the have to carry just to feel safe. The back elongated in both the garments keeps the attacker away when you cant see the, if they approach you from behind which is how most people do it.
The front has seemless pockets to hide self defence equipment. Which you can pull out easily and attack them if they strike you.
This is something you can wear on top of your clothes thus the zip/string in the design.
Elect a world leader
In this piece/game I studied the biographies and took a general consensus of how people viewed them. Players look through the menu where these leaders are listed with their good and bad traits. Making sure not to use the bad/good traits meter completely they have to puzzle the features of leaders together to make one complete leader.
This project can be experienced through this activity where you realize how much you are compromising while voting and trying to choose the best possible option in a corrupted system
For this cart design I used multiple smaller equipments to create an accessory and facillity which can help the vendor with his buisness.
The picture on the left is a vegetable basket with roller skates meant to store extras which aren’t in use the whole time. This was meant to be kept under the cart – away from the customers eyes – and then pulled out on roller skates with the help of a string attached. In this case the vendor decided to put it on his cart :I
